Jack Hudson, LCSW
PROMETA Treatment® Program Director

With over twenty years of experience in the treatment of addictive disease and behavioral healthcare, Jack’s extensive professional background combined with personal experience contributes to his ability to treat diverse populations with a commitment to excellence. Prior positions include High Risk Case Manager and Regional Director of Total Quality Management for a managed care organization, Intake Coordinator, and Utilization Review coordinator at affiliates of the University of Texas, and later as Director of Clinical Services at The Cedars Hospital in Dallas.

In his current role at Murray Hill Recovery, Jack provides individual and group therapy for patients suffering from addictive disease and also those with co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses. Techniques such as disease education, cognitive behavioral therapy, and insight-oriented therapy are commonly utilized to help client’s sustain recovery and improve their quality of life.

Jack works with clients at Murray Hill Recovery who are involved with the PROMETA Treatment Program®. PROMETA is an innovative treatment program for alcohol, cocaine, and methamphetamine dependence. This outpatient program, is designed to correct the long-term physiological effects induced by repeated exposure to alcohol and/or stimulants, integrates physiological, psychological and nutritional treatments.



Martha K. Bowling, LMFT, LCDC
Director of Treatment and Family Services

Martha Bowling is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with over 25 years of experience in the field of behavioral health and chemical dependency. She is recognized as a pioneer in the field of addiction treatment in Dallas, co-founding the areas first outpatient program in 1981. Acknowledged by the Texas Addictions Professionals, for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Chemical Dependency, Martha possesses extensive experience treating patients in a variety of settings.

Prior to Murray Hill Recovery, her roles included being the primary provider of Family Therapy Services for the Nexus Recovery Center, Clinical Director of Act Counseling Center and maintenance of an active private practice.

At Murray Hill Recovery Martha provides individual, group, marital, and family therapy for those affected by the disease of addiction. In this capacity she also supervises the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). She approaches the treatment of addiction with a holistic approach, believing that the disease of addiction affects the entire family dynamic. Martha works extensively to educate family members on the addiction process and to provide therapeutic interventions that lead to the healing of family relationships.

 


Susan K. Sedwick, LPC 
Recovery and Aftercare Specialist

As the Recovery and Aftercare Specialist for the Murray Hill Recovery Intensive Outpatient Program, Susan works directly with clients on the development of a comprehensive recovery plan. A Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of recovery experience, Susan brings compassion, energy, and extensive knowledge of recovery options to Murray Hill Recovery.

Prior to joining Murray Hill Recovery, Susan worked as a primary counselor for a well respected residential treatment center in Utah. She believes recovery is a journey and not a destination. She works emphatically to create an environment where both the client and family are engaged and can make life changes necessary to support continued recovery.

Callie Liles, LCSW
Clinic Director

Callie received her Masters of Science Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1996 and has worked in the field of behavioral healthcare and the treatment of addictive disease for over 10 years. She began her career at a prominent behavioral healthcare facility in Dallas as the Court Liaison for mentally ill clients and as the Coordinator for the Intensive Care Unit.

Callie has extensive experience in the managed care arena with prior positions including High Risk Case Manager and Utilization Review Specialist. Additionally, as an Outpatient Program Director for a non-profit agency, she assisted with business development activities and the development and implementation on new programs, including clinical oversight and management of the program’s diverse staff.
