The Murray Hill Recovery Program (MHR) is designed specifically for clients who are experiencing problems with abuse or addiction to a variety of substances including alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiates, cannabis and hallucinogens. Innovative protocols for the treatment of prescription drug addictions to OxyContin®, Hydrocodone®, Oxycodone®, Percocet®, Vicodin®, and Xanax® are offered. In addition, Murray Hill Recovery offers the PROMETA Treatment Program®, an innovative treatment for alcohol, cocaine, and/or methamphetamine dependence. The PROMETA Treatment Program integrates medical, nutritional, and psychosocial therapies and is designed to relieve cravings, improve cognitive functioning, restore nutritional balance; allowing clients to better engage in ongoing psychosocial therapy.
Murray Hill Recovery is also well known for treating co-occurring disorders for clients suffering from both substance abuse and mental health issues. In addition, the program is designed to assist family members affected by loved ones currently struggling with substance abuse, dependence, depression, and/or other related mental health issues.
Outpatient detoxification is available for clients who require medical detoxification from alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines. The Medical Director of MHR, Lenae White, MD, is wavered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to prescribe SUBOXONE® for office-based detox of opiates. Murray Hill’s ambulatory alcohol detox program includes standard pharmacologic protocols with daily monitoring which include nightly calls for clients who are in the initial stages of detoxification. Family involvement in treatment is highly recommended to help support clients in the early stages of their recovery. Clients are carefully screened for medical and psychiatric diagnoses. Safety, comfort, and confidentiality are hallmarks of the Murray Hill Recovery program.
Continuing Care psychosocial support is provided by licensed clinicians to ensure the highest probability of success. The MHR staff consists of MD’s, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, and Certified Medical Assistants. Our caring and professional staff can provide individual, marriage, family, group, and relapse prevention. Each client of MHR receives a thorough psychosocial evaluation, with the treatment team meeting weekly to provide individualized, comprehensive care plans to help ensure and prevent relapse.
